Fragmented Goliathus under glass, brass base

AN298
Fragmented Goliathus Orientalis under glass dome. This African species which can reach up to ten centimeters long and weigh up to 100g, is one of the largest beetle of the planet, but also one of the most elegant!
This scientific display invented by Edmée François Chauvot de Beauchêne in the 19th century, allows the spectator to understand how is a subject built : each part of the body is separated with a small piece of brass showing us how this huge beetle is articulated!
Our ones are farmed in Rep. Democratic of Congo
