This fossil comes from a very ancient site in the eastern part of Timor, right next to Australia: The Bobonaro Scaly Clay A zone where the remains of Gondwana, this unique supercontinent 600 million years ago, are mixed up until these marine layers of the Upper Trias (about 200 million years).
