This is a family where the members are not really alike. The slow, round crab with its red dots: Carpilius maculatus. the slipper lobster, much more flattened, Thenus orientalis, or on the contrary the swimming crab which allows it to move by freeing itself from the reliefs of the coral reef... The crab that hides behind its huge shield-shaped claws: a Calappa. they are all crabs, gathered in family under this 66cm high globe: perfect to observe them! The composition may vary depending on the "catch of the day".
