PUIN071-3
With their pale green wings and long, tapering tails, Actias dubernardi — also known as Chinese moon moths — look as if they’ve drifted out of a soft-focus dream. Here, a matched pair (male and female) has been arranged on an antique herbarium sheet, as if time itself had paused. The display in a burgundy collector’s box recalls the entomological cabinets of a bygone century.
A pastel interlude between naturalism and poetry.
