Graphic composition: MORPHO wings & Indonesian beetles
PUIN075
This composition favours visual balance and colour contrast rather than strict entomological classification.
The wings of MORPHO DIDIUS (Costa Rica), recognisable for their intense metallic blue, form the base of the graphic structure.
Around them, various Indonesian species were selected for their natural iridescence:
– STERNOCERAS (metallic green beetles)
– flame chafer beetles (CHRYSINA / PLUSIOTIS)
– CHRYSOCHOA with long elytra with green and cream reflections
The whole piece is presented in a black wooden frame with a pearl motif and fitted with domed clear glass.
An entomological display conceived like a painting — where the beauty of natural colours becomes the only rule.
