8 multicoloured ANCYLURIS MELIBOEUS butterflies from Peru
IN360
A colorful group of 8 Ancyluris Meliboeus from Peru. The splendid colors you see are actually the underside of this butterfly’s wings. The top is black with red stripes. This small butterfly native to the Peruvian Andes is easily recognizable by its long, slender tails and the almost unreal brightness of its posterior wings.
Despite his vivacity in flight, he only measures a few centimeters of wingspan. This species lives in the humid mountain forests between 800 and 1500 meters of altitude, where it frequents the sunny clearings.
This presentation, exclusive to Objet de Curiosité, transforms this entomological gem into a natural curiosity.
