Fire coral MILLEPORA EXAESA
CO901-3
This yellow/green color is very rare among corals. It is a specific form of fire coral of the Millepora family. These corals are a bit of a diver’s nightmare, they are so urticant when touched. From each small "hole" comes a defensive polyp that releases a urticating capsule at the slightest contact. This piece will keep this surprising color. Surely the color that is missing in a decor, but which one? It comes with its own Cites number because it is a regulated-trade species.
