A famous prehistoric animal disappeared 10 000 years ago that everybody knows: the Mammuth. This discover is the longest bone of the animal: a right femoral bone. Displayed here in its natural position. It has been unearthed on the banks of the river Wistoka in Poland in 2016.This complete femoral bone hide another curiosity: marks of bite of prehistoric hyenas (Pachycrocuta Brevirostris), species also disappeared 10 000 years ago! The Hyenas (up to 100 kilos), crushed the base of the bone to reach the marrow that they were fond of.
