Rock crystal is irritating: if it is perfect, it looks like glass! While this mineral formed at very high temperatures and under high pressure, so that the silica dissolved in the water that circulates in the depths of the earth, could form beautiful crystals when it cooled gently approaching the surface. Cooling has sometimes led to the formation of veils inside, and that’s what makes this ball, hand polished in Madagascar, unique.
