Antique black display cabinet, Henri II

This almost 100 years old wooden display cabinet has been transformed by a salt blasting process to remove the original glossy varnish. All the hardware remain original, but the overall look is now very different with that mat black finish -a Polyurethan varnish- that also protect the wood from accidents such as spilling a glass... The inside s also treated with a matt varnish. The original beveled mirror has been turned into a beveled clear glass, making a Henri II display cabinet out of a 90 years old wardrobe. Made in France 90 years ago and transformed in France in 2020.
