The choice of matte finish gives this piece of furniture made in France in 1940, a passport for the years 2020. Its straight lines line and the simplicity of the grain of the macassar wood gives its majesty to this sideboard of 220cm long, with 2 interior drawers. Handles treated like ebony are original. It’s all about details, such as the fine metal frame around the two central doors that echoes the sides of the base. The whole interior was also sand blasted with salt before receiving a new varnish finish. The polyurethane varnish also protects this piece of furniture from a knocked over glass or vase... Made in France 80 years ago and transformed in France in 2021.
