Real antique mahogany sideboard 40's
PUMB181
A buffet made in Lyon 80 years ago. The veining of exotic wood (sold under the name Rio dark rosewood) is very regular on doors and drawers. The small vitrina with an aluminum frame brings some light to this furniture of 180cm only. The handles and keys are also made of aluminium, a "modern" material that was very trendy at that time. The curved line of the wooden top nevertheless allows to have a straight facade, because the doors have varying thicknesses: a beautiful design detail. Raoul Bruyère, who signed this piece of furniture, became the world’s first Roche Bobois franchisee in 1962 and stopped manufacturing.
