Couple of red winged stick-insects in the observation framework
PUIN062
this stick-insect, a phasma, has the nickname of "small red winged stick insect", even if its wings are definitely small compared to the size of its legs... Its wings doesn't help him to fly, at the maximum to try to defray a predator by shaking them. This pair is very complementary, since the larger female has yellow wings, and only the male has red wings. This couple comes from bountifull hills covered by tea plantations of Cameron Islands in Malaysia. Phaenopharos struthioneus
