Chrysocolla and malachite -Congo- 3.8Kg
PUMI1648-2
This strong piece with a pattern that seems to be created by a textile designer, is the association of green malachite and blue chrysocolla. Chrysocolla is an evolution of malachite, by oxidation. The polished side highlights the beautiful curves of malachite nipple, surrounded by the bright shades of chrysocolle. These minerals were formed in the copper mines of the Congo, after millions of years of natural oxidation.
Mounted on a black base, this compact piece is both elegant and fascinating.
