This stone comes from South Africa and has the ability to reflect light like a cat's eye. It is due to the fibers of Crocidolite (a type of asbestos), that has been replaced by Silicate millions of years ago This type of mineral is often used ,polished, in jewelery. When the fibers are more in blue tones than yellow, it is given the name of Hawk Eye
