66 KG Haploceras ammonite from Madagascar
PUFO392
Rough huge ammonite from Madagascar of 140 Million years old. The species is Haploceras Carachtheis, and the fern pattern all around is in fact the deep part of the shell that is just under the MOP layer of this prehistoric sea-shell. That's the way its shell is intricated, and how it is became strong. We also see traces of other fossils that landed on this enormous shell, on the bottom of the ocean. This incredible size for a sea shell doesn't exist anymore on earth (66Kg!)
