An uneven shape and tones evoking clay or concrete, these two plates are deeply artisanal. The material is papier-mache, made from recycled paper and cardboard. This technic has existed for more than a century in Rajasthan, especially to make containers with hollow sides (double layer sides and bottom), types of "chests" that serve as a fridge, since it is definitly a hot region all year round. diameter 32cm and 28cm
