Large grey-blue patina pot

There are many colors in the complex patina of this large pot that looks like a handcrafted ceramic: gold, green, a grey-blue patina that adds the feeling of time to the whole. This shape of artisanal ceramic weighs only 2Kg for 40cm high: it is made of paper mache!! It is made from recycled paper and cardboard. This technic has existed for more than a century in Rajasthan, especially to make containers with hollow sides (double layer sides and bottom), types of "chests" that serve as a fridge, since it is definitly a hot region all year round. And to use it with fresh flowers, just slide in a simple straight glass vase.
