This natural mineral the Pyrit Dollar is found in the coal mines of Illinois (USA), where it is laying between sheets of a black shale matrix . Formed over 300 million years ago. There was only 7 mines in the world where Pyrit dollar have been found. And only 1 is still operated. Those incredible minerals were kept apart by the miners during their working days at more than 300 feet deep, and cleaned later to be sold to collectors.
