This sculpture is the work of two French sculptors: Romain & Guillaume for Objet de Curiosite. The Miao is an ethnic group recognized by the government of China as one of the 55 official minority groups. Amongst them, a small number: the Long-Horn Miao, have a tradition, for the women, to wear a highly structured decorative bun of linen, wool and ancestral hair, wrapped in a figure eight around two wooden horns that they fix on their head. Those extremely large headdress are a strong sign of their link to their past and they managed to keep this tradition through the recent history of China... This sculpture of 3 Hmong women (as they call themselves), is a limited 7 pieces edition made by hand in france. In Graphite loaded resin.
