This intriguing chair is inspired by a nineteenth century model that was in a Spanish casino. The smoker’s chairs and chairs "ponteuse" appeared in the eighteenth century, both have a padded part to support his arms, either by holding cards -for the ponteuse- or by smoking for the smoking chair. This type was the luxury model, well positioned between a gondola backrest and a low armrest.
