Jaw of AETOBATUS ray, black wall mount
PU372-2
AETOBATIS ray has a characteristic diamond shape, finishing with a long and venomous tail, whose sting is very painful for humans. It lives in tropical seas, where it moves slowly thanks to its pectoral fins, more like a flight of bird than a swim of fish. It searches into the sand, looking for seabed preys (crabs, invertebrates, molluscs) it won't have any problem for crushing that kind of food with these strong and unusual plate teeth!
