This specimen comes from Laos. Bleached and mounted on a black wooden circle, it captures the full strength of an animal that can weigh nearly a ton — distilled here into a strikingly minimal composition. The dark, spiraled horns contrast sharply with the matte whiteness of the bone, creating an almost graphic black-and-white effect.
