PU891
The Siamese crocodile -Crocodylus Siamensis- is a medium freshwater species (maximum 4 meters long -13 feet- and 370Kg for the larger males). Native to Borneo, Thailand and Cambodia, the actual population in the wild is far less than in the farms. The main reason is the loss of habitat by human activity, conversion of wetland for agriculture. This huge specimen was surely around 3 meters long. Its 64 teeth were mainly used to eat fishes. This big crocodile comes from a breeding farm in northern Thailand, whose main production is leather. listed Cites I.
