it seems to float in the middle of this glass box, a very recognizable skull of the family of parrots and parakeets. It is a lovely African bird, which becomes the attraction of the botanical gardens of Madrid, Paris, Singapore or London: the parakeet with necklace -Psittacula krameri-. The European, American and Asian population comes from captive animals that escaped (or have been released by their owners). This large parakeet measures 40cm long and its intense green color allows it to be discreet in the trees. However, when it lands on park lawns to feed among pigeons, it cannot be missed. Of course, by opening the door of this box, we can observe it more closely.
