Agate slice on black base

This black agate from Brazil is natural. The water that infiltrated this ancient geode for thousands of years was more or less loaded with manganese and iron. This is what gave these dark tones, varying according to the seasons and the years. Cut into thin slices, it becomes translucent and lets light through, like on pictures 2 and 3: luminous windows in a dark night. Very graphic.
