Contrary to popular belief, this crocodile is found not only in the Nile but in many parts of Africa. In fact, it virtually disappeared from Egypt following the construction of the Nasser dam.
It comes from a farm (therefore not taken from the wild) located in Madagascar.
Its actual length, extended, is 145cm. This species is protected by the Washington Convention, so this crocodile comes with a CITES certificate.
