Very rare dwarf crocodile. A species that can only be found in western equatorial Africa (Congo, Burkina, Liberia...) This species is threatened in its natural habitat by the destruction of the swamp where it lives, as well as by hunting for "bushmeat". There are very few in Europe in zoos. It is a heavily armored crocodile, whose forms impose respect... He was born in Austria in 2008 and died at the age of 10 in a zoo in Lombardy. It had reached the very respectable size for a dwarf crocodile, of 150cm!
