The Picasso Triggerfish of the Red Sea is one of the 7 species of Picasso Balist, and as its name indicates, it lives only in the area of the Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea. The Rhinecanthus assasi is sober in color, but seems to wear an elegant mask over his eyes. If he regularly grazes coral, it’s to feed himself, but also because his teeth keep growing...And this particular one could be seen in the famous aquarium of Genova in Italy, where it died in 2022. Taxidermy of fishes requires to paint their colors back, as they loose them as soon as they die. But you can check, he was that bright!
