Panther Chameleon - Furcifer pardalis (Madagascar) - swan and ostrich eggs
PU1205
The panther chameleon (Furcifer pardalis), native to Madagascar, is renowned for its vibrant colors and agile movements. Males can grow up to 50 cm in length, but this particular specimen is a young female, born in a breeding farm in Hungary and raised in a zoo in Torino, Italy.
In Madagascar, this reptile moves across shrubs, palm trees, and even power lines in search of insects. But let’s be clear: you’ll only find it perched on a swan egg at Objet de Curiosité. This swan egg is surrounded by three ostrich eggs laid in France, all protected under a 53 cm glass dome. The brass base, exclusively designed by Objet de Curiosité, is inspired by classical galleries.
A chameleon balancing between nature and imagination.
