Polished ketonite (665g), black base
PUMI2169-2
This surprising and rare mineral takes its name from the 2nd highest mountain in the world: the K2. This white granite seems stained by drops of blue ink, but it is in fact Azurite -the bluest component of the Lazuli lapis- in the form of orbs. These two minerals hardly ever combine together, but the rarity of this Ketonite also comes from the difficulties of exploitation of the artisanal mine, in altitude on the border of Pakistan and China, in the mountains of Karakoram. A mineral that few people have ever crossed: the pleasure of rarity !
