Egyptian cobra skeleton under antique glass
PU668
This white lace that stands in a vintage French globe, is the skeleton of a HAJE NAJA, the Egyptian Cobra. This snake can reach 2.6 meters, which is not the case of this specimen that lived in a zoo of the neighbourhood of Milano . Like 31 other cobra species present in Africa and Asia, this snake has the ability to stand up to a predator and flatten his neck by spreading the ribs to look bigger. It is in this position that it is frozen under this glass globe.
