From the greek "bruon" moss and "zoon" animal, these animals hung all their life to the same substrate, lives in colonies, connected by kind of nerves, sharing food . We know 5000 species with diferent shapes, sizes, and structures, rigid (limestone) or flexible (chitinous). The visible part, which protects the bryozoaire can be disc , fan, slices, corkscrew, stick,... shaped. When they die, they become so many little touches of lace in the ocean.
