Ammonite on black stand
PUFO373-5
This ammonite is from the Lozere area in France, and the most remarkable feature about this prehistoric seashell is that it fossilized into an iron shell. So she’s an iron ammonite! Pseudogrammoceras fallaciosum is an extinct species of ammonite, widespread, in England and Europe, and even as far as Iran. It dates back to the Toarcian, to the beginning of the Jurassic, 180 million years ago.
