This blue stone surely speaks spanish... It comes from the west coast of Peru, 200 Km south of the capital, Lima. Lilly Mine is opened since the 90's and produces only a few gems quality stones .Chrysocolla is a hydrated copper silicate, a minor copper ore. It is found wherever copper deposits naturally occurs ( the copper belt of Congo, but also russia and New Mexico). This untouched piece remain on its matrix, and shows a great contrast with the black base.
