Pink quartz or Rose quartz as we say in France, is not found naturally in the form of a ball or even a prism, but always in the form of a block. It is a variety of quartz naturaly dyed by metallic oxides such as manganese, titanium or aluminum. It may contain micro-inclusions of Dumortierite (blue mineral), which gives this slightly violin shade. and this particular rose is the signature of this vein in Madagascar. This remarkable sphere has therefore been polished by hand. It is perfectly unique.
