These amazing white stars on a black background looks a lot like two edelweiss, yet artists from the Hubei province in China see Chrysanthemum flower. This is a radial crystallization of white Calcite and Aragonite in a softer limestone matrix. The contrast between this white flower and the matrix is slightly improved: the limestone matrix is darkened as it can be seen on the last picture. But it still is a natural phenomenon. . This piece shows 2 crystallizations on the same matrix. Rare.
