slice of Midnight Lace Obsidian on black base.
PUMI1875-1
Looking like glass, but coming from a volcano. This polished slice of Midnight Lace Obsidian is a piece of lava from a Caucasian volcano that has been cooling down very fast, so fast that no crystals could grow. This mineral is rather new on the market, as it is hard to reach this area due to political reasons. Even if it has been used as tools at theNeolithic period (Kul Tepe in Iran) This obsidian is mostly smocky with some darker stripes inside.
