This black agate from Brazil is natural. The water that infiltrated this ancient geode for thousands of years was more or less loaded with manganese and iron. This is what gave these dark tones, varying according to the seasons and the years.Cut in thin slice, it becomes translucent and lets pass the light, especially on the 7th picture where it is illuminated from the back: a remarkable contrast.
