Humeri head of a sauropode dino 13.5kg (Madagascar)
PUFO404
This species was described in 2001 by New York and Malagasy paleontologists in the Mahajanga basin. It is a Titanausore, therefore of the family of giants such as the Diplodocus. This one did not exceed 15 meters long: The Rapetosaurus krausei. A nearly complete juvenile skeleton was discovered. But sometimes bones were very scattered or even broken. This impressive bone is the head of the humerus. It has been polished, which is not the preparation required for a museum, but which makes it so much softer and sensual... Note that can really observe the surface of the bone on a whole face. The biggest bone of the largest dinosaurs that have roamed the earth!
