This round stone is a zebra jasper from Madagascar. We are always surprised by what sedimentation, 500 million years ago, was able to produce... This set of stripes that looks like a collage is the result of minerals dissolved in water that deposited, layer after layer. And each color mix is unique, it may have only happened once. And in this case, the contrast is striking. There is even a cavity that later sheltered a crystallization of quartz. The mix is unique, that’s what is beautiful.
