Fossilized black and white wood of Indonesia (22.2kg)
PUMI2049
This tree of the family of the Magnolia , dates from the Tertiary (-66Ma a -2,5 million years) And it grew on the slopes of what became Indonesia. But the numerous volcanic eruptions in this region sent a layer of ash on some specific areas. Allowing fallen trees not to rot, because in anaerobic conditions, but to fossilize over time. And as the ashes were loaded with silica, these trees had the elegance to fossilize in black and white! The group of 3 that we have, make a perfect prehistoric set!
