Rare books. 2 Volumes of the Atlas of the French Flora -which was published from 1867 in 25 volumes.
Volume 2 is entirely devoted to the cruciferous plant family and includes 234 full-page boards
Volume 12 is devoted to compound flowers and includes 228 full-page boards printed in a process invented by Ansberque: phytoxygraphic reproduction. This process makes it possible to print on lithographic stone the herbarium plates from a decal of plants. On each board the detail of the flower is hand-coloured with paint.
