This pencil sea urchin (slate pencil urchin)seems to float in its bevelled glass box. But it is also possible to see it more closely since by opening the door it will follow, as on a plateau. An ingenious display: both protected in its glass cage, and visible without filter. Ideal to observe the spines of this very particular pencil sea urchin, since the spines are actually as big as pencils. hence its name.
