Salt block from the Potassium mine (Alsace - FR)
PUMI2387
The potash mine in Alsace, located in the North East region of France, is one of the largest in the world. It exploits potash deposits, an essential mineral for fertilizer production. In addition to potash, the mine also contains deposits of rock salt. And rare curiosity, it happens that some veins are tinged with blue! The pinnacle of rarity: when the vain blue meets an orange vein. and here is an almost tricolour piece, exceptional, and unique! That's the largest we managed to get, and when light goes throug it like on pictures 2 and 3... It's magic.
