This clear crystal is French and comes from a locality named Caresse ( caress )! It is a complete crystal of Gypsum from south west of france. The great transparency of this crystal as well as the great transparency are the signature of the best pieces unearthed in this mine. This crystal was attached to the matrix only by the base. The sides and the tip were perfectly clear. A curiosity on brass base.
