Skeleton of BOA CONSTRICTOR
PU1113
This magnificent white lace is the skeleton of a Boa Constrictor, a very large snake (up to 4 meters long) found in the wild on the American, South and Central continent.
Like for all snakes, we have connected the lower jaw and the upper jaw for an aesthetic concern, while in nature, they are "floating", which allows it to swallow very large prey compared to its size. It’s not a venomous snake, but a very muscular snake... He was born in captivity and died in 2018 in an Italian zoo.
