White coral cauliflower -POCILLOPORA EYDOUXI- XL

The cauliflower coral, when observed underwater, looks more like a fruit than a vegetable! The polyps—the living part of this Pocillopora Eydouxi—are pink, and the granular tips of each branch resemble raspberries! Needing sunlight, it doesn't grow very deep, and rarely exceeds 25cm in diameter. This one is a giant one.
Native to the Solomon Islands, this coral is commonly found in clear and well-lit waters. It forms imposing colonies with a voluminous appearance and vibrant white hues, lending distinctive beauty to coral reefs. This species is subject to strict regulations imposed by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES), ensuring responsible exploitation and trade.
