If you place this slice of Agate in front of a light source, you will be amazed by the golden hues it will take, like on the second picture.! The ancient gas bubble that has solidified in the lava of a volcano has received year after year silica deposits brought by hydrothermal solutions. Each new infiltration will bring different oxides, and therefore different colors: hematite, manganese, limonite, greenish chlorite... And that makes the different layers.
