Moroccan Amber Aragonite plate

This free-form dish has a beautiful amber color. It comes from Morocco and is in Aragonite. At least we discovered it under that name in 2022. It is a variety of banded Calcite that takes exactly the colors of the famous Moroccan Aragonite which, iusually takes the shape iof tabular crystals that grow in all directions. A Moroccan craftsman from Sefrou was inspired by forms carved by Mexicans in Fluorite.
